Making a Difference Beyond the Office
Rooted in Westchester, Connected Through Smiles
Having grown up in Westchester, Dr. Isaac Chinitz is extremely passionate about giving back to his local community. He went to New Rochelle High School, walked miles up and down North Avenue, spent time in Roosevelt Park – now he’s creating smiles just blocks from where he grew up!
Dr. Chinitz’s New Rochelle family and community means everything to him. That’s why he dedicates time and energy every month to supporting local schools, uplifting nearby businesses, and initiating health and wellness events. The Chinitz Orthodontics team believes in and supports a healthy and happy New Rochelle year-round.
Youth Baseball of New Rochelle Sponsorship
We sponsored New Rochelle’s community baseball team, and guess what – we won last season! Check out the announcement here. We’re so proud of the Red Storm!
The Ursuline School Art Department Partnership
We are delighted to partner with The Ursuline School’s Art Department to bring our office windows to life. Each season, their talented student artists create fresh, hand-painted displays that add color, creativity, and joy to our practice and the surrounding community.
Leffel School Senior Internship Host
We were proud to partner with The Leffell School’s Senior Internship Program and welcome a student intern into our orthodontic practice. During her time with us, our amazing intern gained firsthand insight into patient consultations, treatment planning, office operations and culture, sterilization procedures, digital X-rays, and the many elements involved in delivering exceptional orthodontic care.
Halloween Window Decoration Participant
The New Rochelle Chamber of Commerce hosts an annual community Halloween window-painting tradition where local student artists, teens, and families decorate downtown merchant storefronts with spooky seasonal scenes. See our fantastic windows here!
The Leffell School Career Day Presenter
Dr. Chinitz prepared a presentation about his orthodontic career for The Leffell School’s school-wide specialized day of learning focused on potential student careers. We had a booth where students were able to practice bending orthodontic wires. Even the head of school, Dr. Michael Kay, took a try!
William B. Ward School Reader
We join local William B. Ward School educators to read to their students every year. Dr. Chinitz loves interacting with New Rochelle’s youngest generation.
